ONDC Delays Network Fee Implementation to April 1

The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has postponed the introduction of its network infrastructure development and services fee from January 1 to April 1, following feedback from stakeholders. Initially announced on December 3, 2024, the fee entails a charge of ₹1.5 (excluding taxes) on seller applications for each successful transaction exceeding ₹250. This delay aims to provide participants additional time to adjust their internal processes.
