OpenAI’s Sora 2 App Targets TikTok & Shorts

OpenAI has launched Sora 2, an AI video creation app competing with TikTok and YouTube Shorts. It generates short 10-second videos using text prompts and integrates “cameo” uploads for user likeness. But the model risks legal scrutiny because it may include copyrighted content by default — rights holders must opt out to prevent use, raising concerns about intellectual property and content rights.
