SpaceX’s 10th Starship Test Flight Triumphs

SpaceX’s tenth Starship test flight marked a significant turnaround, overcoming past failures with two major breakthroughs. It successfully deployed eight Starlink simulator satellites using a novel payload door and conducted an in-space Raptor engine relight. Both the Super Heavy booster and Starship upper stage executed controlled splashdowns—booster in the Gulf of Mexico and Starship in the Indian Ocean—despite sustaining heat shield damage upon reentry.
