TCS CHRO Refutes Layoff Rumors, Confirms Only 1% Workforce Reduction

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) has addressed recent concerns about layoffs, clarifying that the company has released only 1% of its workforce, approximately 6,000 employees. He emphasized that circulating figures suggesting higher numbers are "very exaggerated." The CHRO reaffirmed TCS's commitment to its employees and stated that the company continues to hire and invest in talent development.
