Tesla CFO Vaibhav Taneja Named Treasurer of Elon Musk’s New America Party
Tesla’s Indian‑American CFO, Vaibhav Taneja, has been officially appointed Treasurer and Custodian of Records for Elon Musk’s newly registered America Party, per Federal Election Commission filings. Taneja joins Musk’s effort to form a third U.S. political party aimed at challenging the Republican–Democrat duopoly and opposing the recent “Big, Beautiful” tax-and-spending bill. His role highlights Musk's deep trust in longtime Tesla finance chief.
