US Bans Over 7,000 Truckers for Failing English Proficiency
Over 7,000 commercial truck drivers in the US have been placed out of service for failing mandatory English proficiency tests, according to the Transportation Secretary. The crackdown follows fatal accidents involving foreign-origin drivers, making Indian and Indian-origin truckers, who form a large part of the industry, the most affected.
