Visa Brings AI 'Agentic Commerce' Platform to Asia Pacific

Visa is expanding its Intelligent Commerce platform to Asia Pacific, enabling AI agents to securely shop and pay on behalf of consumers. The platform uses tokenization and its new Trusted Agent Protocol to verify transactions and prevent fraud. Visa plans to launch pilot programs for this "agentic commerce" model in the region by early 2026.
