Vivo Overtakes Samsung in India's Smartphone Market

Vivo has surpassed Samsung to secure the second-largest smartphone brand position in India, according to IDC's Q3 2025 report. Fueled by strong festive demand for premium smartphones, the market grew 4.3% year-on-year. While Vivo led with an 18.3% share, Oppo was third at 13.9%, and Samsung slipped to fourth. Apple also hit its highest-ever 10.4% share, reflecting the growing trend toward higher-end devices.
