X (formerly Twitter) is rolling out a new "About this account" feature to boost transparency and combat misinformation. The feature reveals a user's country or region of origin, the date the account was created, and its username change history. This is intended to help users verify content authenticity, although privacy options, like displaying a region instead of a country, are available.
