Your AI Search, Your Way: Google Gives You the Reins

Google has expanded its "Preferred Sources" feature directly into AI Overviews and AI Mode. Users can now choose their favorite websites and creators via search personalization settings, which will highlight and prioritize these trusted links in AI-generated answers with a "preferred" label. Designed to put users in control, Google notes that individuals are twice as likely to click through to content from their chosen sources.
