Zoho's messaging app, Arattai, experienced a remarkable 100-fold increase in daily sign-ups, soaring from 3,000 to 350,000 within three days. This surge aligns with the Indian government's Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, promoting indigenous digital solutions. Founder Sridhar Vembu emphasized Zoho's commitment to long-term research over short-term profits and noted that such projects might not have been feasible for a publicly listed company.
