Silicon Autopilot: Cadence Unleashes AI "Super Agent" to Design Circuits by Text

Cadence Design Systems launched AuraStack, an agentic AI platform that automates complex printed circuit board (PCB) and chip packaging layouts. Instead of manual drafting, engineers can simply type design goals in plain language. AuraStack then orchestrates Cadence's existing high-performance computing tools to plan and execute the work—slashing engineering times and cutting hardware time-to-market by up to half.
