Mega-Byte Megadeal: Skanska Lands Record $1.2 Billion US Data Center Deal

Swedish construction giant Skanska secured its largest-ever single data center contract, worth $1.2 billion (11.2 billion Swedish crowns), to build four facilities in the southeastern United States. Signed with an existing, undisclosed client, the project spans roughly 808,000 square feet and covers building shells and technical interiors. Construction starts in Q3 2026, with completion scheduled for Q3 2028.
