"A Good Start, But Not Enough": Palo Alto CEO Demands Cheaper AI Tokens

Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora called OpenAI's 54% token efficiency gains for its GPT-5.6 Sol model "a good start," but warned costs are still too high for enterprises. Arora stated token expenses must drop by 80% over the next year and 90% the following year to make AI scalable, as rising costs heavily strain corporate budgets.
