Sky-High Security: Airbus Ditches US Tech for European AI Cloud

Airbus has signed a multi-year deal with Iliad-owned Scaleway to provide a secure, sovereign cloud infrastructure for its sensitive aerospace and defense applications. The partnership blocks exposure to extraterritorial US surveillance laws, hosting critical data for aircraft design and military tech. It also accelerates Airbus's deployment of customized artificial intelligence tools built in collaboration with French startup Mistral AI.
