Premature Obituaries: Google Blames Wiki Vandalism for Sam Altman Death Glitch

Google search briefly displayed false results claiming OpenAI CEO Sam Altman had died, triggering online confusion. Google quickly fixed the issue and clarified that it wasn't a manual change on their end. The error stemmed from external vandalism on Altman’s Wikipedia page, which Search scraped before the edits were reverted. Wikipedia has since restricted page editing to prevent further pranks.
